13th Annual Road Safe Show
The Road Safety Officer continued to provide support to the Donegal Road Safety Working Group (DRSWG). The Road Safe Road Show is a unique partnership between Donegal County Council and members of the Donegal Road Safety Working Group which provides a platform to positively influence the
driving behaviour of young students as they commence their driving careers or who travel as passengers in cars. The 13th Annual Road Safe Show in October 2019 was attended
by over 2,500 students from Donegal’s secondary schools and Youthreach centres.
Donegal County Council and the Donegal Road Safety Working Group continue to work with Finn Harps Football Club to assist with the promotion of Road Safety in Donegal with the Primary School Road Safety Art competition.
In 2019, the Donegal Road Safety Working Group continued its collaborations with Donegal Daily, Donegal Sports Hub website and CLG Dhún na nGall Health and Wellbeing Committee to highlight road safety issues
and promote road safety awareness across Donegal.

Donegal County Council was awarded the Excellence in Service for Road Safety 2019 presented by the Public Sector Magazine. This is the fifth year in succession that Donegal County Council has received this award.
