Bridge Capital Projects
Construction of the Tyrconnell Bridge Deck Replacement Project was completed in Q1 2019. The bridge is a replica of the original structure but designed to modern standards so it can meet the current and future transport need of the residents of Donegal Town.
The design and approvals of Meenamullagan Bridge in the Inishowen Municipal District was brought to a conclusion in 2019. The works were tendered in Q4 2019 with a view to commencing the construction of the 24.3m long bridge in Q1 of 2020.
Carrigart Bridge in the Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District was designed and brought through the statutory approvals process in 2019 and is now ready for construction.
