EAF 2019 Citadels Eclipse’ - Rajasthani musicians Asin Khan, sarangi, and Sawai Khan Manganiyar, percussion, performing in Eclipse, the second part of Earagail Arts Festival’s Citatels of The Sun commission, in collaboration with the Jodhpur Rajasthan International Folk Festival.
Regional Cultural Centre
Exhibition programme
The Regional Cultural Centre, one of the finest arts facilities in Ireland, continued to commission and show major Irish and international art exhibitions in 2019. The programme featured a number of large-scale, one-person shows by Irish and international artists. These included Amanda Dunsmore, Cathal McGinley, Richard Noble, Kevin Callaghan, Anthony Haughey, and group shows such as The Yalta Game, Súil na nÓg and LYIT Graduate Exhibition.
Music programme
The RCC continued its music development programme and presented a year-long series of concerts that featured Spring and Autumn programmes and a number of festivals including, Letterkenny Trad Week, Distorted Perspectives and Donegal International Folk & Roots Weekend as part of the Earagail Arts Festival.
