Joint Letterkenny Chamber & Donegal County Council event

In a joint consultation event Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce and Donegal County Council held the first of a series of consultation events to discuss the future of Letterkenny as a designated Regional Centre.  Some 45 members and guests of the Chamber of Commerce attended to identify a shared ambition for the growth of the town and to discuss what needs to be done to achieve the development of a strong Letterkenny.

This workshop is being followed by a series of planned events during this initial phase of consultation.   Initial comments, issues, observations and concerns are invited from anyone with an interest in the future growth of Letterkenny and submissions can be made by email via [email protected]  or in writing to Central Planning Unit, County House, Lifford, F93Y622.

Alternatively, if you are involved with a group, business or local agency that is interested in directly engaging with the process please contact the Central Planning Unit to discuss possible arrangements.

The initial consultation period is ongoing up to 29th June, 2018, and the next planned events are-

  • 24th May 2018, Public Drop In Event, 2pm to 8pm in the Letterkenny Public Service Centre, Neil T Blaney Road
  • 29th May 2018, Business Event with a Town Centre focus, 6pm in Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny
  • 6th June 2018, Community, Social & Cultural Sector Event, 7pm, venue to be confirmed.
