Rent
How is my rent calculated?
Rents are based on the income of all occupants in the household in accordance with the Council’s Differential Rent Scheme.
Review of rents
Tenants must notify the Council of any changes to income or household composition, as they occur. The Council will revise the rent in accordance with the changed circumstances.
In addition, rents for existing tenants are reviewed annually and the Council will notify tenants of the revised rent and the date on which it will take effect.
Policy Direction relating to LA Rent Schemes
