Fire Prevention Charges
Donegal County Council in accordance with Local Government (Financial Provisions) (No. 2) Act, 1983 and the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 2000 has set charges for the provision of Fire Prevention services as outlined below.
The amounts below are set for the provision of Fire Prevention services and the associated charges.

Fire Safety Certificate Search |
The search of the Fire Service database to ascertain any Fire Safety Certificate Reference Numbers relating to a premises. |

Fire Certificate File Search, Retrieve and Viewing
|
The search of the Fire Service database to ascertain any Fire Safety Certificate Reference Numbers relating to a premises and the retrieval of relevant archived files for viewing by the applicant / applicant’s agent by appointment at Fire Service HQ (Letterkenny). |

There are a number of different payment options for Fire Prevention services:
- Over the phone by calling our Call Centre on 074-91 53900 and asking for the Cash Office (where they will take a card payment and provide a receipt number), or
- By cash or cheque (made payable to Donegal County Council) and returned to any Public Service Centre or to Fire Brigade HQ, High Road, Letterkenny, F92 XV50 or
- By EFT online (via Donegal County Council bank details as below).
