Positivity in Photography
The talented Oleksandr Kior has kindly shared some images taken in the very scenic Bundoran, Co Donegal .
Oleksandr and his wife Halyna fled the war in Ukraine in 2022. Donegal County Council assisted the couple in finding accomodation under the Offer a Home Programme. Oleksandr is a keen amateur photographer and has sought solace exploring Donegal and capturing images such as these.
Oleksandr said ‘we can sometimes forget to look or take for granted how blessed and lucky we are in Donegal to live with such breathtaking scenery and it’s lovely to think that it is a healing mechanism to those fleeing war’.
