Road Safety Action Plan
Road Safety Action Plan (2022 – 2030) is in line with the Government Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030 and is underpinned by Vision Zero and a Safe System Approach, which sets out the ambitious target of reducing fatalities and serious injuries by 50% by 2030 and eliminating deaths and serious injuries on the roads by 2050.

Donegal Road Safety Working Group
The Donegal Road Safety Working Group is an interagency group consisting of Donegal County Council, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, An Garda Siochana, Road Safety Authority, Donegal Youth Service, Donegal ETB, Pro Social, Foroige and HSE Ambulance Service.
The Donegal Road Safety Working group promote road safety awareness and education and oversee the implementation of the Road Safety Plan.
Road Safety Educational Resources
Approved resources for delivery in preschool, primary and post-primary schools as well as programmes for use in third level, workplace and in community settings are available from the Road Safety Authority RSA website.
