Offer a Home
Pledge of Property
Donegal County Council is urging people to consider offering a home to those displaced by the war in Ukraine.
For anyone who has a house, apartment or holiday home, the process of Offering a Home has never been easier. A tax-free recognition payment of €800 per month is available to those offering accommodation. Utility bills including, electricity, heating, rubbish collection, internet usage and food will be paid by the occupant.
The accommodation must be provided for at least 6 months at the required standards.
Our Ukrainian Refugee Response Team provides an inclusive approach to individuals pledging their property and will ensure the process is skilfully managed. This includes property inspections and relationship management.
Donegal County Council’s experienced Ukrainian Response Team is dedicated to making the process of matching, meeting and placing as smooth as possible for the homeowner and individual.
