Tim Hayes to visit the Central Library

Central Library Letterkenny are hosting free talk with Tim Hayes on Monday 22nd September at 11.00am

Tim is the former Head of Communication at the European Commission Representation in Ireland.

The talk will cover the challenges of Misinformation and Disinformation within the EU.

The event will also highlight Sustainable Development Goals Week to promote Sustainable consumption, Nature conservation and Climate action.

Tim said, “I am delighted to be visiting Europe Direct Letterkenny for this talk and look forward to engaging with the audience on the ever increasing challenges of Misinformation and Disinformation which are prevalent throughout the EU and the opportunities that Sustainable Development Goals Week offer us all.”

Promoting the benefits of EU membership is a corner stone objective for the European Commission. Europe Direct Letterkenny provides:

Phase Three of Buncrana’s Night-Time Economy Grant Scheme: Events and Festivals

Donegal County Council has launched Phase Three of Buncrana’s Night-Time Economy Grant Scheme, with a specific focus on events and festivals. This phase invites businesses, community groups, artists, musicians, performers and individuals to develop imaginative evening events that make Buncrana an even more vibrant and welcoming place after dark.

Motor Taxation 9.15am to 12.15pm, and 1.15pm to 3pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Cash Office 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Other Services 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
