Donegal County Council opens support helpline following Storm Éowyn

In response to an emerging humanitarian need, Donegal County Council have opened a helpline for those who need support following the impact of Storm Éowyn. 

The Community Response Support Helpline is available on 1800 832 015 from 9.00am to 4.30pm this week.  

The public can also reach us on our dedicated support email humanitarianassistance@donegalcoco.ie

Donegal Public Services Centres located in Letterkenny, Milford, Donegal Town, Carndonagh and Dungloe, together with our Library Services and Donegal County Museum (Letterkenny) welcome anyone in need of wi-fi and charging facilities to call in during opening hours. Updates on individual library branch services available will issue throughout the week as branches open. Opening hours and updates can be found at https://www.donegalculture.ie/en/visit-us/

A visually striking exhibit: the LOVE Installation, under the One Million Stars Ireland initiative, will move to An Grianán Theatre for the Cathaoirleach's concert on the 18th, giving an engaging blend of music and visual presentation for a shared cause. The LOVE Installation and the concert give an evening of not only stunning music but hope, resilience, and harmony as well. Everyone is encouraged to come and take part, be inspired, and assist with the ongoing work of preventing domestic abuse in Donegal.

Cathaoirleach’s Charity Concert - An Evening with Moya Brennan and Mairéad Ni Mhaonaigh

Moya Brennan, Mairéad Ni Mhaonaigh and friends gather at An Grianán theatre this April 18th for what promises to be a spectacular night. Donegal County Council Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Niamh Kennedy has brought together a stellar lineup of musical talent for one-off charity benefit concert for Donegal Domestic Violence Services. The special concert will take place on April 18th at An Grianán theatre, promising an evening of performances to remember for an important cause.
