Reopening of Ballyshannon Library and Extension of Opening Hours for Bundoran and Donegal Town

Donegal County Council Library Service are delighted to announce the reopening of Ballyshannon Library and an extension of the opening hours of Bundoran and Donegal Town Libraries from the week beginning 16th September. The opening hours of each library are:

12:30pm – 5:30pm & 6:30pm – 8:00pm

9:30am – 1pm & 2pm – 5:30pm

Friday

Patrons will be able to borrow books, use the computers and printer and learn all about the online resources we have to offer, including eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines on BorrowBox and online learning platforms such as Transparent Language and Universal Class.

Europe Direct Letterkenny Soapbox Public Speaking Competition

Soapbox will take place in Central Library, Letterkenny on Thursday the 7th of November at 6.30pm. The topic for this year’s Soapbox is: “AI is not a threat to Humanity”. Entrants will have 3 minutes to argue for or against the motion and the winners will receive an Apple iPad.
