Throughout the month of December 2024, Donegal libraries will transform into wonderlands of creativity and joy, offering a wide range of free family-oriented events and activities. The programme is packed with exciting events from storytelling sessions with Lennie the Lizard to festive crafting opportunities with Santa and his elves, making it the perfect way to celebrate the festive season together. There really is something for everyone to enjoy.

Festive Highlights Include:

Donegal Libraries offer a vast selection of Christmas books for both adults and children plus, there are no longer any fines! The Family Time at Your Library events create a supportive environment for children to experience the joy of reading, both at the library and at home.

The Donegal County Library Service invites families from across Donegal to visit their local library and partake in this festive celebration of books, creativity, and fun.
