Stage 3 - How do I apply?

If you are applying for a second or further payment (excluding the final payment), please have to hand:

  • the amount(s), including VAT,  in respect of engineer costs incurred during this stage of the works for:
    • fees for the preparation of a remedial works plan
    • professional fees for oversight/inspection and certification (the same percentage % as the works costs at this point vs overall grant)
    • professional fees for appointment to a statutory health and safety role (the same percentage % as the works costs at this point vs overall grant)
  • the amount, including VAT, in respect of contractor costs incurred during this stage of the works

and

please ensure you have the following ready for upload:

From your engineer:

a) A copy of the Inspection Plan (as implemented) - signed and dated by your engineer

b) A copy of the original and itemised invoice (inclusive of VAT) for preparation of a remedial works plan (if applicable)

c) A copy of the original and itemised invoice (inclusive of VAT) for oversight/inspection and certification (if applicable)

d) A copy of the original and itemised invoice (inclusive of VAT) for appointment to a health and safety role (if applicable)

e) The Stage 3 Grant Payment - Part B Engineers Declaration which includes a certification of the works at this stage (this must be signed and dated accordingly)

f) photographic evidence of works complete at this stage

and


From your contractor:

g) A copy of any original and itemised invoice(s) (inclusive of VAT) detailing the qualifying works and their respective costs - this must be itemised as per the subheadings in the contractor's quotation supplied at Stage 2.

h) The Stage 3 Payment of Grant Form - Part C Contractors Declaration which includes a certification of the works at this stage (this must be signed and dated accordingly)

 

Certificate of Remediation Form‌ will be required for full and final payment claim (15% of the approved cost) along with annexed documentation:

  • The Remedial Works Plan (as Implemented) must include amendments, if any, to reflect works carried out.
  • The Inspection Plan (as Implemented) must include inspection reports with photographic evidence attached.
  • Ancillary Certificates must include any applicable certificates from the design team/specialist designers that the Competent Engineer coordinated throughout. 
  • A copy of the Chartered Engineer’s PI Insurance certificate.
  • Copy of Planning Permission where applicable.

 

The Council will advise you when you can apply for your next payment and you will see it listed in the online system.
