Donegal County Council Management Structure
There are six directorates in Donegal County Council. Each directorate is responsible for providing a range of functions and services.

Council Meetings 2019
There were 11 meetings of the Plenary Council in 2019 and each Municipal District met as follows:
· Donegal - 11 times
· Glenties - 11 times
· Inishowen - 9 times
· Letterkenny - 10 times
· Stranorlar - 7 times
The Corporate Policy Group held 5 meetings in 2019.
Strategic Policy Committees
There are five Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs).
Community, Social & Cultural SPC
Cllr. Marie Therese Gallagher Chairperson
The Community, Social and Cultural SPC met on two occasions in 2019 and reviewed the following;
· Creative Ireland
· Heritage Plan 2030
· Archives Loans Policy
· Funding Report by Municipal District/Funding
Economic, Enterprise & Planning Policy SPC
Cllr. Paul Canning Chairperson
The Economic, Enterprise and Planning Policy SPC met on one occasion during 2019 and reviewed the following;
· Submission on the Regional Economic and Spatial Strategy
· Update on LAP process for Letterkenny, Buncrana and Bundoran
· Update on URDF and RRDF applications and establishment of delivery team
· Establishment of Council Business Forum · Review of LEO activities 2018 and planned
activities for 2019 · Signage Policy
