A temporary traffic diversion is currently being constructed on a short section of the N14 between Manorcunningham Roundabout and Drumoghill.
This is required to protect structural integrity and to facilitate necessary remedial work. The construction of the temporary diversion will be completed over the next few weeks.
Once fully operational the diversion will facilitate free flow of road traffic under a Special Speed Limit (Road Works Speed Limit Order) of 60kph which will apply on approach and through the temporary diversion.
This traffic diversion and Special Speed Limit will remain in place until such times as the required remedial works are complete and it is envisaged that this will take between 6 and 9 months.
Donegal County Council asks all roads users to co-operate fully with this arrangement.
