Donegal County Council wishes to advise that the L-3044-4, L-3044-5, L-3044-6 road between the Dreenan Bridge Junction, Ballybofey and the Crossroads Village, Dromore, Killygordon will be closed to through traffic from the 13 March until 29 May for a period of 11 weeks to facilitate water main installation works.
Local traffic will be accommodated and only one individual section of the road will be closed at any one time from junction to junction.
The section of road between Dreenan to Edenmore will be closed first, followed by Edenmore to Carn, Carn to Drumavish, Drumavish to Ballynacor and Ballynacor to Crossroads Village.
The timing of these sections may alter and updates will be provided on the councils Facebook and Twitter.
The alternative routes are the L-3004-1 (Dreenan Junction to Millbrae), N-13 (Stranorlar to Killygordon), L-2944-3 (Killygordon to Crossroads Village). Donegal County Council and Irish Water apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
