This mission is being jointly led by Donegal County Council and Derry City and Strabane District Council and offers unique opportunities for local businesses to engage with key economic and government decision makers, as well as market professionals.

Benchmark Strategies have been engaged to support this bilateral trade and investment initiative in Massachusetts providing technical and new client development assistance to those businesses participating in the programme.

Pat Bench President of Benchmark Strategies visited the northwest region last week and spent time with businesses who will be participating in this year’s trade mission to Boston as well economic development agencies in the region.  He believes that this trade mission is a great chance for businesses in the region to gain valuable market insight and establish lasting connections through business to business meetings with potential partners, agents and distributors in the US.

Fourteen companies in total will be included in the delegation sourced from both the Donegal and Derry and Strabane region. They will be accompanied by the Mayors and Chief Executives of both Councils and key partners.
