Roadworks Update

 21/02/2017 - Surfacing Works on the N14 between Murlog Junction and  Gallows Lane

Surfacing works will be taking place on the N14 between Murlog Junction and  Gallows Lane from 7pm to 7am from Wednesday 22^nd February to the Tuesday 7^th March 2017. Traffic control will be in place and motorists are asked to plan their journey during this period as traffic delays may be experienced. We would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during the course of the works.

21/02/2017 -  Drainage Works on the N14 Lifford Roundabout tomorrow

Drainage works will be carried out on the N14 Lifford Roundabout tomorrow 22^nd February 2017. Traffic control will be in place for from 9.00am to 5pm and traffic restriction will be in place on all four arms of the Roundabout. Motorists are asked to plan their journey during this period as traffic delays may be experienced. We would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during the course of the works.

Glencolmcille L-5055-1 from the junction at the former Glencolmcille Garda Station Building heading west. 

(Road will be re-opened each weekend from 5.00pm Friday to 9.00am Monday) Diversions in Place.

Monday 27 February 2017 at 8:00 a.m. until Friday 17 March 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

The L 2723-1 Meenahalla Road starting at the bridle path for a distance of 900m towards the R253 Glen Road.

Monday 16th January - Monday 20th February 2017

Diversions are via the local Road network at Lisnennan Road L1144-1 and the New Road through the Unifi Site.

From  Monday 9^th  January  2017 to  Friday 27^th  January 2017  (8am to 5.30pm daily)

The proposed alternative Route is via Shercloon, Ballindrait

12/12/2016 - Roadworks on  Church Rd in Killybegs

From Mon 12th December until Fri 3rd February, Church Rd in Killybegs will be be closed for works. Diversions will be in place. The road will re-open over Christmas between Fri 23rd December and Tues 3rd January.

5/12/2016 - Roadworks Killybegs L - 1355 Fintragh Road

Monday 5 th December 2016 – Friday 3 rd February 2017

Diversion via L-1285-1 between the Carpet Factory Junction with the old Regional Road and the Killybegs Industrial Road(R-263) and along the Killybegs Industrial Road to Glenlee Roundabout in the Kilcar direction.

29/11/2016 - Road Closed in Termon

From : Tuesday 29 th November 2016 To : Monday 6 th March 2017 (8am to 6pm daily) Road to be closed: L6262/1 in the townlands of Currin, Drumdeevin, Drumoghill, Ballybuninabber and Losset. Alternative Route The diversion Route is via R255 and R25

16/11/2016 - Roadworks on the N56 south of Lettermacaward

Traffic management continues on the N56 south from Lettermacaward through the Gweebarra Bends.  A special speed limit is in operation. These major works are due to be substantially completed in December (before Christmas).

11/11/2016 - Resurfacing works at St. Mary's Road Car Park

Due to resurfacing works,  St Mary’s Road car park will be closed on Monday 14^th, Thursday 17^th and Friday 18^th of November. There will be no access to this car park during these days.

Resurfacing works on Moyle Rd/Gransha Rd Buncrana on Tues 15th  & Wed 16th next.  There will be very limited access to these roads during these works.  Thanks for your patience.

There are works taking place on the N14 Lifford to Letterkenny Rd between Lifford Bridge and Rossgier until March next year, with the majority of the works set to take place overnight.

Works are taking place on the N56 Link Rd at Kiltoy, Letterkenny around the old Unifi Factory.  Delays expected. Please allow extra time for your journey.
