  Draft Ramelton Action Plan



Donegal County Council in conjunction with Dedalus Architecture has prepared a Draft Action Plan for the town of Ramelton. The Draft Plan proposes a number of heritage led actions that are intended to support the renewal and regeneration of Ramelton.

A Public Consultation Event has been organised at which the Draft Ramelton Action Plan will be presented by Architect Mr. Duncan McLaren. Council staff will be in attendance to facilitate feedback and address queries.


The Event will be held on Wednesday 12th February 2020 At 7pm

In Ramelton Town Hall, Ramelton

This is an open invitation and everyone is welcome to attend the event.

A copy of the Draft Ramelton Action Plan is available to view online Ramelton Action Plan  and will also be on public display during normal office hours from Friday 7th February until Friday 13th March at the following locations:


  •        The Planning Office, Donegal County Council, County House, Lifford.

  •         Letterkenny Public Services Centre, Neil T. Blaney Road, Letterkenny.

  •         Milford Public Services Centre, Main St., Milford.

  •         Ramelton Town Hall, Ramelton.

  •         Community Employment Scheme Office, Bridge Street, Ramelton.


Submissions in relation to the Draft Ramelton Action Plan may be made in writing to The Regeneration & Development Team, Donegal County Council, Three Rivers Centre, Lifford, Co. Donegal or via email to by 4pm on Friday 13th March 2020.
