On 27th Jan 2014, Donegal County Council adopted its 5-year Traveller Accommodation Programme in accordance with Section 15 of the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act 1998. The Programme covers the period 2014 - 2018 and replaces the previous Programme 2009 - 2013.
