Donegal County Council is currently leading out on the development of the Malin Head Development Project and continues to work with Failte Ireland, the Malin Head Community Association, local landowners, Inishowen Development Partnership on the development of Malin Head as a world-class visitor attraction.
Malin Head Visitor Management Plan
Donegal County Council and Fáilte Ireland are working with the local community, key agencies, business partners and stakeholders to deliver a Visitor Management Plan for Malin Head.
Following a period of extensive public and stakeholder consultations, design concepts have been developed and shared with the public and elected representatives over the course of 2020. We want to thank all who contributed and attended workshops and meetings over this period. Whist the formal process for public consultation is now closed, Donegal Co. Council and Fáilte Ireland are committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders in the area to deliver a plan that will provide unique opportunities for tourism and economic development for Malin Head. This work continues and further developments will be shared with key stakeholders during 2021.
